Here I am once again talking about some realizations I’ve had in my life. I would want to do it tomorrow but I guess it’ll be hard to find some time.

But first, I would like to share a quotation. I found this really interesting and inspiring quotation in ate shari’s misteryosa.com while I am reading her entry.

Maybe sometimes you have to stop waiting for someone to come along and fix what’s wrong. Maybe sometimes you have to stop feeling sorry for yourself and realize that no one else has the answer. Sometimes, you just have to be your own hero….

That’s how I view my life this year. I am not bragging but I am very much proud to say that I am able to surpass a lot of trials and challenges this year. And through those challenges, I learned a lot of new things. As the saying goes, “Experience is the best teacher”. Indeed it is but it’s the hard way.
I’ve experienced a lot this year, good and bad moments and also change! I dunno if it’s for the good, or whatever. At least I did, and I did it for myself. I know peer pressure and media are the biggest catalyst for my change. I don’t know how it happened, for all I know is I did change a lot

I am my own super hero besides God. Whenever I face problems, no one knows that I am facing them. Just me, myself and God. I guess that’s the only thing left in me as a cynic.

I am not a cynic now. I can very much say that I’ve already overcome that. I changed a lot, from the cynic person that I am to a jolly and vivacious me!

So that’s my offline life for 2006 in general. It’s not sugar, spice and everything nice. For I believe that my life is one twisted fairytale. I guess that’s applicable for everyone too! Because whether we like it or not, we’re not perfect and so is our life.
With my online life I can say that I’m pretty much blessed. I’ve started blogging only this year. Probably some time in May or June I guess. My blogging tool that time is blogger or blogspot, and for quite some time I managed to get hosted. Then here! Yay! I have my own domain.

More than that, I met a lot of people in and out of the country who also have their own stories. I can say that you people are so good to me because you let me have a peek in your life by letting me read your entries. Not just that, you even gave me the freedom to give my opinion.

That’s my realizations, in general, for 2006. Sorry if I present my it subjectively and not objectively. I hope you do understand

I’m fond of joining message boards nowadays. In one message board that I’ve browsed, I’ve this really interesting topic. Yes, it’s the title of this entry of mine - Destiny.

Do you believe in Destiny?

I had so much fun reading all the answers of the other members. People do really have their own interpretation. And mine is: Yes, I do believe in destiny, but the thing I do not believe is my destiny is already written before-hand.
I believe in the things destiny and fate, but there are limitations. When I say I believe in a thing, that does not mean that I embrace the whole idea.

I believe in destiny, and I also believe that I am the one who’s making it, and not somebody else. My destiny lies in my own hands.

I’ve received a text message that’s about destiny. The text message says: Destiny is just a lame excuse for people who don’t want to make things happen. Precisely correct. If we already know what are we going to be in the future, especially if it’s that good, then there’s a great chance that we’ll stop pursuing our dreams and we’ll just wait for our destiny to happen.

Only 55 minutes to go and counting, and Christmas will be over. So before the clock strikes 12 m.n., just wanna greet everyone a Merry, Merry Christmas! And also, I would like to thank again those who have greeted me and gave me gifts. Thank you guys! You’re one of the reasons why my Christmas this year is more meaningful. And the year is almost over! One more week and hello 2007! So before we welcome the new year, try pondering on this things. Yes it’s time to reminisce fellas!

So, how’s 2006 to you? Is it great? Or just another year that passed by? If it’s not that good, why? Do you have any regrets? Then, what is it? And why are you regretting? So all in all, how do you view 2006?

Just some things that pop into my mind. I know it’s too early for this kind of questions. Please do answer them, it is a way of communicating to your inner self and don’t worry, no need to post your answers here. And as for me, I’ll answer all those on new year’s eve
And because this year is very good and meaningful to me, and also fruitful. I’ve faced and surpassed a lot of trials, challenges and struggles, met new faces and been to different places, and learned a lot of lessons from life.

You might wonder what’s up with my title Well, a year ago I thought that was the last time that I’d celebrate Christmas on our house because there was a fire on our neighborhood and only one house to go for the fire to reach my home. Firetrucks circled the all-over place and a lot of firemen were trying their best to put-out the fire. It took more than a hour to put-off of the fire, and I am so thankful to God that I didn’t reach us.
At around 2 AM is its anniversary. I can’t believe that it’s already been a year.

So today is our Christmas Party. Nothing to say much. We didn’t have games of stuff. We just sang all morning, then eat before going home. I’m happy that I decided to come after all.

So much with that it’s over Now I can finally relax. Sleep late at night and be a couch potato! No more assignments, no more projects! Yehey!

Ok so about the comments. I’m very sorry for not being able to return them yesterday because I’m searching for a good anti-spam filter. Well, sadly Akismet failed to filter one spam. I’m startled with what happened so I’ve decided to add more security so that that won’t happen again.
