Is love sacrifice? Am not only pertaining to the “let go part if the person you love is in love with some other person”, k?
We’re asked to read a short story who has a theme of, in my opinion, love is sacrfice. My perceptions changed upon reading the said selection. I thought sacrifice is tantamount to the art of letting go. Yes, it can still be considered but this whole love-is-sacrifice doesn’t just revolve on letting go. In the selection, if read through the lines, it is clearly stated that loving someone or committing to somone is indeed a sacrifice.
But why? Yes it is also written there that a person must be willing to give up (or sacrifice) something that he treasures the most for his loved one. Very sweet isn’t it?
Honestly, I think it’s a piece of crap. Why choose if you can have both? Or there’s always an alternative right? Uhmmm… this doesn’t apply to guys who wanted to have more than 1 lady beside his bed. LMAO.
I’m out of thought, and I don’t know how to continue. Maybe the reason to all this is am not in love at the moment so I can’t relate. What about you guys? What can you say? Â
Moving on, I didn’t attend school because I fell from the stairs earlier this morning, and twisted my left ankle and sprained my left foot. How great is that? Great because I have a reason not to go to school because it pains me whenever I walk. It really hurts and swells.
Another sad part is today’s the first day of our annual school fair. The seniors are in-charge for the marriage booth.
