I don’t know if it’s possible to call this a tradition but every year I usually have my year-end realizations. Like what I’ve stated in one of my previous post (the one that features my New Years Resolution), I rarely have resolutions because I prefer having realizations. Believe it or not, I got the idea of having year-end realizations from an anime - it’s Boy’s Be. I think it’s the second to the last episode. :heart:

Last year, I posted my realizations on Christmas Day. I really do not what happened that time but my last post for the year 2k6 is on Christmas day. The post is entitled Thank you’s and Reminiscence and my post for this year is entitled ‘happy new year to you!‘ because I cannot think of a more appropriate title.

So, to my realizations. The first semester of this year is probably the most mind-boggling one. Who would have thought that choosing a university is so hard? Oh yes it is so hard! Especially if you take your friends into account. There are times that you would choose something that is out of plan. That’s what happened to me - I ended up in the university that doesn’t even crossed my mind but I guess I’m glad that I ended up there. More than that, my friends are studying there so it’s just like high school. But of course, there is a part of me that is questioning the decision I’ve made. Though my conscience keeps on asking me a lot of “whys” and “hows”, I’m settled already and nothing can ever change that.

I’m happy with my decision though it’s hard to cope at first. You see, I’ve pursued and fought for where I am now just to be with my friends but none of them were my blockmates! But I guess that’s life and come to think of it, if those things didn’t happen, I will never meet the wonderful people that I call my “college friends” now.

Sorry if this is way too long. I have a lot of realizations this year - college taught me a lot.

During the second semester of this year, my family is faced with so many problems. Since it’s about my family, I won’t spill the details here. I am just glad that were able to push through. I admit that during those times, my optimism is gradually drifting away but God is so kind, He never let me down in those times. Also, He even gave me a lot of things that I never asked for. With all honesty, I’m trying my best not to cry while writing this part… yes, I’m teary-eyed right now! :eek:

I’m going to end it here though there are still a lot of things that happened to me. But those 2 are the most-highlighted ones. And now, I’m off to return your comments. :heart:

Accidents and injuries are synonymous in a way but when you took an in-depth look in it, it’s not. Accidents is the cause and injuries are the effects of it. But if facing the real thing, the grammatical perspective of how these two different things do not matter at all.

Here’s a simple logic: people do no want injuries so they are trying their best to prevent accidents, because accidents are the cause of injuries, so in order to prevent injuries, accidents have to be prevented. It sounds funny but it’s the real thing. But there are some accidents that are really bound to happen, meaning no matter how much precaution has been taken, it will still occur. Good thing there are kind people, attorneys actually, that are willing to help and they are the austin personal injury attorney. They are willing to help when you needed them the most.

A bedbug is probably the most irritating insect! Well, at least for me. Why? Because they inhibit your most personal domain - your bed! Your bed is only your sojourn after a long and tiring day and then these pissing bugs will inhibit them? Imagine, you’re tired and weary, and all you wanted to do is lie down on your bed and rest but you cannot because you know that bugs inhibit them. Totally pissing right?

A lot of precautions must be taken into account in order to prevent accidents. Yes, accidents maybe be prevented but not at all times. And like what is stated above, a lot of precautions must be done in order to prevent it.

It is a fact that nobody in this world wanted accidents to occur. Who would want something bad to happen, anyways? Maybe most people would not agree since the criminals and the terrorists do wanted to create some fuzz, but if certain things happen to a close friend or relative, their families, or even themselves - I definitely doubt that it.

Firstly, I am so excited to announce that my hair is now color brown! :oops: Yep, I dyed it and I love it. The problem is, I really hate the smell and it smells bad - pungent actually. The good part is, the smell will not last forever. Sorry I do not have any pictures coz I cannot find the batts of my digicam.

Next is my New Year’s Resolution. With all honesty, this is the first time that I’ve created one. I swear this is really the first time! And my resolutions are as follow:

• janelle shall shed some weight.
• janelle shall not withdraw her money.
• janelle shall try her best not to buy as many bags as possible.
• janelle shall lessen her junk foods intake, and this includes her favorite oreo cookies and chocolates.
• janelle shall be good in school.
• janelle shall minimize procrastination.
• janelle shall sleep at night and not during the dawn.
• janelle shall not speak bad words anymore.
• janelle shall save money.
• janelle shall follow this until the last day of December 2008.
• janelle shall do it or else there’s no hope for her

My list sounds weird and, also look weird! I really do not know what come in to me to address myself in third person. Anyways, I hope I’ll be able to keep those promises, especially the following: bad words, parties, save money and the bags!
