I’m good in remembering dates but sorry if I cannot remember your special day dear one. 
I’m reading a new manga again and it irked me to make this post. Because at the first part of the manga, there are two guys mesmerized by the “sexy back” of the girl in sailor suit. The two guys though that she’s one heck of a babe but when she turned around, one of the guys said he got scared when the girl turned around. Then the other idiot asked him if the person he’s pertaining to is the girl with glasses. And that same guy said (translated version), “Boooring! And I got all excited for nothing! It’s just some short-sighted girl!”. The other replied with “FOUR EYED-GIRL!”. And all the people inside the bus where laughing because a girl who’s wearing glasses was called as a “FOUR EYED-GIRL” by a couple of idiots.
No offense to the author of the manga but I’m just irritated by the fact that once a girl wears glasses she’s some sort of nerd or freak. It irritates me that much because this simple reading material is teaching us that those who wear glasses are four-eyed freaks!
Yes, I wear glasses and the picture you’re seeing on the right side of your screen is my picture while I am wearing my glasses. I will not ask you if I look like a nerd there or a freak. But one thing’s for sure, even though I look like some horrible four-eyed monster, freak or nerd, I am not one! And the same goes to the others who wear glasses. Wearing glasses do not make us less of who we are. Our visions maybe impaired but we are still 100% humans.
Yes, I’m still human even though I look like some sort of alien because of my glasses. By the way, I have a short temper… so if you try to bully just because I have glasses, you’re dead! Notes: Don’t test my anger.
Additional Notes: The reason why I stated “Don’t test my anger” instead of the cliche “Don’t test my patience” is due to my short temper. I get angry easily. And it seems that I can do anything if I have gone mad and I do not know my limits yet. I haven’t tested my anger up to the highest possible point so I really do not know what will I do if that happens.
And if you’re wondering if I’m the type who bottle things inside, the answer is NO. In fact, I’m very outspoken of my feelings and emotions. Even though that’s the case, I still erupt like a sleeping volcano whenever I’m pushed to my limits.

hey,, those manga authors are just making a fun part for the story,,
plus, you should be a little proud if someone calls you a “four eye”. unless of course if the way they said it are really insulting.. but four eyes are really cute..
just to inform you, smart guys loves a girl with glasses,, mostly geeky glasses.. just not sure of a varsity losers type of guys, but you can even make a survey out of it.. ask men that are having a good reputation in the public,, i mean good ha.. ask them what do they think about chicks who wear glasses.. for sure most of them will agree that they are to be liked

I don’t wear glasses but I believe that bespectacled people shouldn’t be stereotyped as geeks/nerds. That’s just downright stupid. Actually, I even sometimes think they’re cool.

i dont find anything wrong in wearing glasses. im not a person who wears glasses but i know some people who aren’t suppose to wear glasses but wear. there are people who prefers using glasses than contact lenses. i do believe they do that because it suits their looks. i mean, there are people who look cuter with their glasses on.

Parehas tayo, nakasalamin din ako. And one of the reasons kung bakit minsan e iniiwan ko talaga yung salamin ko sa bahay ay dahil sa mga taong ganyan na mapanglait. LOL
Pero I never bothered wearing contact lenses, kasi mas comfortable ako sa glasses. =D
I love manga din! ^_^

Anung manga yan? Sitahin natin? Haha. jk. There’s definitely nothing wrong with wearing glasses. I’m also wearing glasses pero occasionally lang like if i really need it. pero not for the reason na baka inisin or something kasi wala ngang masama kung nakaglasses ka. Di ko kasi bagay eh. Pero sabi ng classmate ko, paminsan mas mabuti pa nga daw yung glasses kesa sa contacts eh.

I wear glasses because according to my opto pagod daw ang mga mata ko sa computer and I like wearing glasses, pag naka glasses ba automatic geek ka? Di rin no. I disagree!! XD Hehehe! Ako sometimesI bottle things inside pero mabilis din ako magalit.
