Instead of having a truce with my friend, I think it would be better to just cut our ties.

In the past 2 years, a lot of things happened. And changes are inevitable. We changed and it’s sad that we cannot cope with each other’s changes. 2 days ago, we’re having a quite nice text conversation but due to some sarcastic remark that I’ve sent, I know I hurt her feelings. So the following day, I sent a message, an “I’m sorry” text message. She didn’t reply. It’s not that I’m expecting a reply or something; but it’s just that I’ve realized that it would be better if the two of us should just break our ties

I am the one at fault this time and I guess this is the best opportunity to cut whatever we had in the past.

I am like the antagonist in a tragedy. But I’m willing to swallow whatever prejudice that will be thrown to me because of this decision. And my basis for making this is not only our 2 years gap. But our whole friendship story.
