Manny Pacquiao Made History

Known as the “Pabansang Kamao”, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao proved that the title fits him when he won his fight against Miguel Cotto. He won by a TKO victory during the final round of the fight. By this, he became a 7 Time World Champion.
The fight was stopped during the 12th round. And before the 12th round started, Miguel Cotto expressed that he no longer wishes to fight. But his team wanted him to continue the battle since it’s already the last round. He entered the 12th round but the fight was stopped when he was cornered by Pacman. The referee then announced that Manny Pacquiao as the victor of the fight.
Congratulations Pacquiao! You made us, Filipinos, very proud!
Other than the fight itself, the singing of the Philippine National Anthem is also part of the highlight of the fight (for Filipinos that is). On today’s fight, the SOP trio known as La Divas sung the Philippine National Anthem.
