I love pictures! Yes, I admit that there are a lot of times that I am just playing with my camera but the reason why I love pictures is because it is only thru pictures where I can somehow recall the past. A picture is like a window to the past. But the problem with pictures especially those that are made before the era of digital camera are they are easily tattered. Once the picture is tattered, one memory is lost - literally. Now that we’re on the advent of technology and there are such gadgets like the digital camera and colored cellphones with a camera embedded in it. Such gadgets can be used to take snap shots or memories. It’s good that these things are created and are currently being developed. But there are also a lot of problem to this since digital pictures will only be digital if the owner of the cellphone or the digi camera do not wish to print it. Yes it’s sad but guys, technology is really that great for it already invented a picture frame that is specially made for digital photos. It’s non-other than the digital picture frame! Believe it or not, guys, there is really a picture frame that is powered by electricity and is very good in displaying digital images. Now we need not to worry for those digital images can be displayed in every part of the home - just like the traditional picture frames. Isn’t it great?

They are like the traditional frames but they are a lot better since it’s easier to change the picture that is being shown. A cataract is an opacity that develops in the lens of the eye. It usually blocks the light that passes thru the eyes. This case usually happens to old people.

I know a little about cataract but I am so afraid of getting this. I do not want my precious eyes to be blocked by it. I cannot say that I am really taking care of my eyes since I am always in front of my computer screen. Anyway, my grandmother has a cataract on her right eye. It’s already that big that’s why it’s no longer just an opacity but whitish blue in color. Though that’s not the real reason why my grandmother cannot see but I think if she had taken care of her eyes in the past, this thing won’t happen.

Nowadays, cataract is no longer that much of a problem since there are a lot of technologies invented that resolve this problem. And the latest breakthrough is the refractive cataract surgery. It’s good that such technologies are being invented. This means that people, especially the oldies, will be able to keep their vision as clearly as possible. Hay… I hope such technologies were invented in the past. Maybe if that thing happened, my grandmother can see images right now.
