While I was eating my dinner last night, I overheard the news from the adjacent room. The room is about how the Filipino middle class people discuss the current situation of the country. The news anchor even emphasized that the silent middle class finally has time to discuss things, especially political issues. And according to them, the means of communication is blogging. There are lot of reasons why blogging has been chosen and the first among those is: it’s open not only to Filipinos inside the Philippines but also to Filipinos outside the country, and also to other nationalities. The world of information and technology is vast and so are the audiences that can partake in the discussion.

When I heard this, I felt scared and I realized that my entries are read not only by my visitors and “commentors”, because my entries can be read by everyone. It may sound a bit foolish, but when I started blogging, I never realized those things. I never thought that I’ll be sharing the glints and the hints of my life to the whole world. But it doesn’t matter, blogging is one of things that I enjoy so no matter how many regrets that I’ve had upon hearing the aforementioned news, I won’t stop blogging and no one can stop me from doing it.

I really love to blog because thru blogging I am able to express my suppressed feelings and emotions. You can say that it really makes my life less stressful because I am able to say what I want to say without any worries. That is just one of the benefits of blogging to me.

Believe it or not, blogging really has a lot of benefits. The one I’ve mentioned above is just one of the thousand reasons why blogging is definitely love.

The second reason why I blog is because of the wonderful people that I call now as friends. Who would have thought that friendship is possible to sprout over the web? Oh yes! It is so possible because I have already proven that and so is my friends. Though we are not closely related, we know that when we need someone to talk to, these friends are ready to lend an ear.
And the last reason why I love to blog is because I am able to gain money from it. I am neither shy nor anxious to say it out loud. Yes, you can earn money thru blogging. That means that even though I am a full-load college student, there is still a chance left for me to have my own money using my own skills. And the great part is, my parents support me in this. At first they were hesitant and all but later on, they already have confidence with what I do.
